Much more personal than mass TV or even targeted internet advertising, human billboards provide a media channel that conveys the personal endorsement of those who wear the message.

Buttons, handbags, hoodies and T-shirt advertising can convey the message with a strong personal endorsement communicating the message and providing a testimonial, a referral.  Along with the use of outdoor billboards, tobacco advertising effectively conveyed its message with branded t-shirts, jackets, playing cards, dart boards, and other promotional goods even when advertising was banned from US TV since 1971.

So what does this mean for your small business?
