So many businesses are trying to do the right thing when it comes to recycling, using "green" marketing materials printed with soy inks and post consumer waste paper and offering employees the opportunity to work from home one day a week to avoid commuting costs to the environment.
I've noticed that businesses in the early stages of "going green" are met with snide comments that they are "greenwashing" instead of really being green. I say "don't give up!"
Don't abandon your green efforts just because you aren't "as green" as someone else thinks you should be. Just like all things in business, you can't do it all in one day! Each step greener helps to improve things and make your employees more aware of being green -- and hopefully your customers and your suppliers as well!
